TugTrashOutdoors Travels to Silver Glen During Manatee Season

Ian and Krystal from TugTrashOutdoors on YouTube stayed aboard our 38’ 4-sleeper houseboat Catfish Bend at the end of January. They traveled all the way to our northern boundary, Silver Glen, during manatee season. Every year from late November to early March manatees escape the cold river temperatures, gathering Florida’s freshwater springs, where the water stays a steady 72°F year-round. They filmed their whole trip, so you can see what a houseboat adventure on the St. Johns River is really like!
